Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted:
- All your personal data will be permanently removed
- Your couple connection will be disconnected
- All messages, photos, and shared content will be deleted
- Your XP, levels, and achievements will be lost
- Calendar events, notes, wishlists, and bucket list items will be removed
- You will not be able to recover any data
Account Deletion Requirements
Both Partners Must Request: Since Closerly is a couples app, account deletion requires email requests from both partners to ensure mutual consent and data privacy protection.
Requirements for Account Deletion:
- Both partners must send separate emails requesting account deletion
- Each email must be sent from the registered email address associated with the account
- Include your full name as registered in the app
- Include your partner's registered email for verification
- Confirm that you understand the deletion is permanent
How to Delete Your Account
1 Prepare Your Information
Gather the following details before sending your request:
- Your registered email address
- Your full name as shown in the app
- Your partner's registered email address
2 Both Partners Send Email
Each partner must send a separate email to hello@techiegenz.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request - Closerly"
3 Wait for Confirmation
Once we receive requests from both partners, we will verify the accounts and process the deletion within 7 business days. You will receive a confirmation email when the deletion is complete.
